Joyce L. Werley, 83, of Orefield, died April 11, 2014, in her home.

She was the wife of the late Frederick A. "Fritz" Werley.

Born April 1, 1931, in Orefield, she was the daughter of the late Stanley O. and Bertha L. (Schoemaker) DeLong.

She was an assembler at Day-Timer, formerly Dorney Printing, formerly in East Texas, for 16 years before retiring in 1986.

Prior to that, she was a waitress at Leather Corner Post Hotel, Orefield.

She was a member of Morgenland Union Church and Sunday School.

Her survivors include a son, Barry B. and his wife, Elaine, of Orefield; daughter Cindy Lu Breininger and her husband, Mark, of Hesperia, Calif.; brothers Richard S. and his wife, Sandra, of Bluffton, S.C., Stanley O. Jr. and his wife, Martine, of Orefield; sister Shirley A. George and her husband, William, of Schnecksville; grandchildren Rebecca and her husband Jared, Bryan and his wife, Brooke, Kaylin, Tia; great-grandson Logan;

She was predeceased by sisters Carrie J. Kriner and Frances M. Rau.
