Jean E. Gross, 88, of Tahlequah, Okla. and formerly of Allentown, died April 3, 2014, in Talequah. She was the wife of the late James B. Lunger and the late Clarence "Tiny" I. Gross.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Edna May (Phillips) Boyer.

She was a registered nurse for the Bethlehem Area School District prior to retiring.

She is survived by a step son, Daniel and his wife Marilyn Gross of Tahlequah; two sisters, Patricia Grow and Nancy Merkle; five grandchildren; and two great–grandchildren.
