Betty J. Creyer, 85, of Beersville, died April 11, 2014, at Alexandria Manor, Bath. She was the wife of the late Leonard E. Creyer Sr. for 65 years.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Minne (Mertz) Hummel.

She attended Lehigh Township High School.

She worked for Ka-Res Lingerie and Mary Fashions for more than 30 years before retiring in 1994.

She was a member of the International Ladies' Garment Workers Union.

She was a member of Christ Church Little Moore United Church of Christ, Danielsville.

She is survived by a daughter, Brenda J. and her husband Sherwood Eckhart of Moore Township; two sons, Leon E. Jr. and his wife JoAnne of North Whitehall Township and Matthew H. and his wife Lisa Gellock of Moore Township; two grandsons, Aaron and his wife Megan Eckhart of Lehigh Township and Jonathan and his wife Colleen Eckhart of Danville; two great–grandchildren, Brayden and Clara; a brother, Earl Hummel of Petersville; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Estella Beers and Esther Kemmerer.
