Marian E. Follweiler, 95, of Allentown, died March 31, 2014, in Phoebe Nursing Home, Allentown.

She was the wife of the late Roger H. Follweiler.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Edward S. and Minnie J. (Follweiler) Hartman.

A 1936 graduate of Allentown High School, and a 1940 graduate of Pennsylvania State University, she later returned to Allentown High School to teach home economics for many years.

She continued her passions for sewing, cooking and gardening long into retirement.

She was a member of Jacob's Church, New Tripoli, and a former member of Faith United Church of Christ, Allentown.

Her survivors include sons, Brent E. of Foglesville, and Barry R. of Allentown; grandchildren Amy L. Murphy and husband Thomas of Flushing, N.Y., Brian Follweiler of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Shayna Nagel, wife of Tony Cesa of Philadelphia.
