Julia Homko, 93, of Orefield, formerly of Alden, Newport Township, died April 4, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Born May 7, 1920, in Newport Township, she was the daughter of the late Max and Mary (Haverlak) Woyco.

She was a former member of Holy Resurrection Russian Orthodox Church, Newport Township.

Her survivors include a daughter, Barbara M., wife of Dennis J. Burke, with whom she resided; granddaughter Christine M., wife of Randy S. Thomas, of Fogelsville; and great-grandchildren Erika, Devin and Cara.

She was predeceased by siblings Anna, Dorothy, Anastasia, Eva, John, Stephen, Wasyl and Nicholas.
