John S. Kozic, 89, of Whitehall, died March 28, 2014. He was the husband of the late Lucie F. Kozic for 60 years.
He was a son of the late Joseph and Bertha (Strihovsky) Kozic.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He was a supervisor at Mack Truck for more than 30 years, retiring in 1985.
He was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, Whitehall.
He was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus and of the Fullerton Fire Company 1. He was a past president and a 25 year member of the BMW sportsman club.
He is survived by two daughters, Jane L. and her husband Dale Scheller of Kutztown and Deb Dorsey of Philadelphia; a son, Tom A. of Saylorsburg; five grandchildren; five great–grandchildren; and a sister, Veronica Schaeffer of Georgia.
He was predeceased by a son–in–law, Robert Dorsey; and eight siblings.
