John S. Kozic, 89, of Whitehall, died March 28, 2014.
A son of the late Joseph and Bertha (Strihovsky) Kozic, he was the husband of Lucie F. Kozic for 60 years at the time of her death in 2011.
He was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, Whitehall.
An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of Fullerton American Legion Post 367, a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus and Fullerton Fire Co. No. 1, and past president and 25-year member of the BMW Sportsmen's Club.
He was a supervisor at Mack Trucks for more than 30 years before retiring in 1985.
His survivors include daughters Jane L. Scheller and husband, Dale, of Kutztown, and Deb Dorsey of Philadelphia; son Tom A. of Saylorsburg; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister Veronica Schaeffer of Georgia.
He was predeceased by son-in law Robert Dorsey in 2000, and eight siblings.
