The Catty softball team got off to a bit of a slow start but exploded in the fifth and sixth innings to put the game away in a 17-0 victory.

The Roughs led just 1-0 after two innings but scored twice in the third and fourth before adding seven in the fifth and five more in the sixth.

Alexis Ayache picked up the shutout win for the Roughies and Hannah Edwards paced the team with a 4-for-4 day at the plate. Amarys Moten was also perfect with 3-for-3 performance in the win.

Olivia Schlofer went 3-for-4 with two doubles and Danielle Lilly was 3-for-5.
