Terrence R. Neil, Sr., 80, formerly of Allentown and Macungie, died April 6, 2014, in Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall Twp. He was the husband of Theresa J. (Moorehead) Neil. They would have celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary this week. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Terrence C. and Mabel (Wimmer) Neil.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran, and a graduate of Penn State University. He was an electrician with Terrence Neil Electrical and served as an engineer for Macy's Lehigh Valley, Montgomeryville, King of Prussia and Christiana, Del.

He was a member of Jordan United Church of Christ, Allentown, where he was a former elder. He was a 32nd degree mason and a member of Jordan Lodge, Lehigh Shrine, Lehigh Consistory, Hillbillies, High 12 and DeMolay.

He is survived by his wife; daughter Letitia B. and her husband William P. Debus, of Macungie; son Terrence R. Jr. and his fiancee Ottie Willoughby, of Macungie; sister Madeline Maakestead, of Naples, Fla.; grandchildren Laura E. and her husband Horst J. Lehmann, Lydia W. and her husband Earl A. Peters, Sarah E. and Terrence R., III; great-granddaughters Erin E. Peters and Elsie J. Lehmann.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the church.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m. April 10 in Jordan U.C.C., 1837 Church Rd., Allentown. Call 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the church. A Masonic service by Jordan Lodge will precede the funeral service. Arrangements were made by Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., Allentown.
