Hope A. Hopper, 63, of Wescosville, died March 31, 2014, at home. She was the wife of Charles Hopper to whom she would have been married 44 years April 11. Born in Chapmans (Upper Macungie Township), she was a daughter of the late Franklin H. and Annie M. (Holben) Schaffer.

She had been employed as a machine operator for 20 years at Nestle Purina, formerly ALPO, Orefield.

She is survived by her husband; sons, Daniel E. and his wife Sue, of Allentown and David K., of McKinleyville, Calif.; brothers, Rev. Franklin and his wife Diane, of Emmaus, Larry and his wife Nancy, of California and Terry and his wife Gail, of Northampton; sister, Joyce Shelly, of Orefield; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Norman and Robert.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by the Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., Fogelsville.
