Donald S. Henry, 90, of Salisbury Township, died April 4, 2014, surrounded by his family in his home. He was the husband of Margaret F. (Miller) Henry. The couple would have celebrated 67 years of marriage Aug. 30. Born in Birmingham, Pa., he was the son of the late Sherman J. and Edith F. (Gensimore) Henry.

He was an active and faithful member of Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, Emmaus.

He was a Naval Veteran serving during World War II where he was a member of the Seabees.

He was employed as a heavy crane operator for many years until his retirement.

He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his enjoyment of gardening, especially his tomatoes and vegetables, but most of all the love he shared with his family and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife; children, Brian S. and his wife Erika, of Manhattan, Kay L. and her husband Richard Heidecker, of Allentown and Donna S. and her husband Randy Balliet, of Coplay; grandchildren, Timothy Heidecker, Maria, Erika Heidecker, Cara, Rebecca Balliet, Miller and Kate; great-granddaughter, Amelia Heidecker.

Memorial donations may be made to Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, 418 Elm St., Emmaus, 18049.
