Walter J. Riedi, 90, formerly of Fla., died March 16, 2014, at Woodlawn Terrace at the Oaks, Salisbury Township.

Born in Oelwin, Iowa, he was a son of the late Walter and Edith (Premis) Riedi.

He was a graduate of Drexel University with a bachelor's degree in engineering.

He was in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He was an executive upon retiring from Sears Roebuck Company after 40 years.

He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Daytona Beach, Fla.

He was a member of the Easton Lodge 152, F.&A.M.

He is survived by a son, Ron and his wife Wendy of Moore Township; five grandchildren, Kristin, Andrew, JoAnna, Daniel and Cody; a niece; and a nephew.

In addition to his former wife, the late Violet (DePizzol) Riedi, he was predeceased by a sister, Florence.
