Virginia D. Christman, 84, of Easton, died March 20, 2014.

Born on March 9, 1930, she was the oldest daughter of the late Lewis M. and Sadie I.J. (Waidelich) Snyder, of New Tripoli.

She was the widow of Carl M. Christman, who died in 1993, and with whom she built and operated Christman's Building Supply, New Tripoli, from 1975-88.

Her survivors include children, David R. and wife, Jennifer, of Allentown, Kathryn, wife of Raymond DeFrain, of Slatington, and Sandra Mlodossich of Easton; sisters Eleanor Eschbach of Palmerton and Carol Shirley of Schuylkill Haven; grandchildren Anoure Fenstermaker, Elizabeth Martlock, Barry and Michael Mlodossich, Gregory Christman, Raymond DeFrain Jr. and Laura Christman; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and many special friends.
