Track falls to NL

Northern Lehigh beat Catty in track. The Nolehi girls won 111-37 while the boys won 90-56.

Lehigh Valley Christian and Notre Dame Eastburg also competed, however no other scores were given to the Press.

Richard Houser was a double-winner for the boys, winning the boys long jump with a distance of 19-7 3/4. He also won the triple jump with a 40-8.

Paryss Marshall won the 110 hurdles in 16.3. Ra'Von Burton took the 100 in 11.7. Dionis Lora captured the 800 run in 2:17.9 and Ty Kern cleared 11-6 to win the pole vault competition.

For the girls, Hanasia Jenkins and Trinity Henderson each won two events. Jenkins won the girls 100 in 13.5 and also the 200 in 28.9.

Henderson was a winner in the javelin with a throw of 91-10, just ahead of teammate Gabrielle Bachman's 91-6. Henderson also won the shot put with a 34-5 1/2.

Dakoha Zelinsky took the girls discus with a throw of 85-8.

The Catty boys 4x100 relay team won in 46.1 and was made up of Cory Hicks, Richard Houser, Paryss Marshall and Ra'Von Burton.

Lehigh Valley Christian also competed in the meet. Jacob Stith was first in the boys 1,600 run with a time of 5:03.1. Michaela Rex was first in the girls 400 in 1:11.4. Andrew Groff won the 200 in 24.7, just ahead of Burton.

The LVC girls 4x400 relay team, made up of Carissa Clift, Rachel Prusak, Michaela Rex and Rachel Loar, won in 5:02.8.
