High School Musicals: Notre Dame

When a homicidal barber has fresh meat he teams up with a pastry chef who sells tasty meat pies. The delicious musical, "Sweeney Todd," is presented at 7:30 p.m. April 10 - 12, auditorium, Notre Dame High School, 3417 Church Road, Easton.

Customers get more than a close shave when London's Fleet Street barber Sweeney Todd (Patrick Davis) polishes them off, robs their corpse and sends the meat over to his partner in crime, meat pie baker Mrs. Lovett (Alexandra Séman).

Young lovers Johanna (Nicole Dischinat) and sailor Anthony Hope (Nikola Georgievski) confront their pasts and struggle to find a future together.

The cast includes simple-minded Tobias Ragg (Michael Guerriere) and tragically crazy Fernanda Culichia (Beggar Woman).

The musical is directed by Roddy Gilkeson with choreography by Meghan Kohler and vocal coaching by Elizabeth Marsh-Gilkeson.

Music and lyrics are by Stephen Sondheim and the book is by Hugh Wheeler.
