Geraldine Mae Helfrich, 81, formerly of Macungie, died March 27, 2014, at the Lehigh Center, Lower Macungie Township. She was the wife of the late Robert S. Helfrich who died in 1994. Born in Alburtis, she was the daughter of the late Peter Bauman and Bertha Stofflet.

She was a member of Solomon's United Church of Christ, Macungie.

She worked at Daytimers as a final assembler until retiring in 1995. She previously worked at Royal Manufacturing in Alburtis and All Dry in Emmaus.

She was a member of the Macungie Senior Citizens and Macungie VFW and was commonly known to all as Mom.

She enjoyed dancing, family parties, traveling and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by children, Michael Fenstermaker and his wife Diane, of Moselem Springs, Cindy and her husband Paul Shoff, of Macungie, Brenda and her husband Michael Decker, of Macungie; grandchildren, Jennifer Phillips, Scott Shoff, Michelle Bauer, Lee and Eric Fenstermaker; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by four siblings.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m. April 2 at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
