David K. Musser, 73, of Emmaus, died March 28, 2014, in his residence. Born in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late David M. and Edna (Youndt) Musser.

He earned his bachelor's degree from Hope College in Holland, Mich. and master's degree from Michigan State University.

He was a published author and poet in the Emmaus area.

He had a deep interest in astronomy.

There are no immediate survivors.
