The Annual Spring Basket Social at St. Nicholas Church, Berlinsville, will be held Saturday, April 5, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday, April 6, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Winners are notified by phone Sunday afternoon.

The kitchen will be open and there will be a bake sale with nut rolls available for purchase.

The event is held in the social hall of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 4412 Mountain View Drive, Walnutport (on Route 946).

The Yokefellow Prison Ministry will hold their annual fundraising banquet 5 p.m. Bethany Wesleyan Church, Cherryville, Sunday April 13.

The featured speaker is Chaplain David Bowen, the new executive director of Yokefellow Prison Ministry.

Entertainment will be provided by Joyful Noise, a southern gospel quartet.

A full course ham and chicken meal will be served.
