Kenneth G. Anthony, 91, of Slatington, formerly of Bake Oven Road, Germansville, died March 20, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
He and his wife, Betty J. (Parry) Anthony, celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary last Sept. 7.
Born Jan. 27, 1923, in Bowmanstown, Carbon County, he was the son of the late Paul M. Sr. and Beatrice (Kleintop) Anthony.
He was a rotary operator for 42 years at the former Bethlehem Steel Corp. before retiring in 1983.
He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
He was a member of Christ's Church at Lowhill, New Tripoli.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Roger L. of Slatington; daughter, Kim L. Dirnbeck and her husband, Eduard, of Slatington; siblings Arnold and his wife, Minerva, Lamar and Shirlene Benninger, all of Walnutport.
He was predeceased by a brother, Paul M. Jr.
