Jane E. Litwin, 56, of Northampton, died March 17, 2014, at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Charles Litwin for 28 years.
Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Virginia (Heckman) Hower and the late Warren Hower.
She was a 1975 graduate of Northampton High School and a graduate of Kutztown University.
She worked in the bakery department of the Giant Food Store, Coplay, for the past 11 years. She was a preschool teacher for the former St. John's U.C.C. nursery school.
She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Northampton.
She was a 4-H leader. She was a member of the Allen Township Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.She was a former basketball and softball coach for the Allen Township Youth Association and the Bath-East Allen Youth Club.
In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by a son, Justin, at home; a daughter, Jennifer, at home; three brothers, Earl Hower and his fiance Shelly of Leesburg, Va., and James and his wife Amy Hower and Jay Hower, all of Northampton; and a sister, Jean and her husband David Susko of Nesquehoning.
