Heidelberg Church's No Limits Youth Group is open to children in the sixth grade and up.

Meetings are 6 p.m. on the second Wednesday of every month.

Heidelberg Church's soup kitchen Assistant Coordinator Linda Hausamann said 200 hot meals were served recently to the hungry and homeless on a cold, single-digit temperature day.

The meal consisted of tacos with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream, Spanish rice and delicious baked goods of chocolate cupcakes, cherry pies and cherry cakes from faithful Heidelberg bakers.

Special thanks to the following volunteers of the day: Pastor David Hess, Doris and Richard Koenig, Shirley Boger, Marie Kistler, Marcia Green, Jason Price, Dawn and Ed Fisher, Bob Mills, Linda Hausamann and Howard Truitt.

Heidelberg Church's Soup and bread takeout sale pick up is noon-2 p.m. March 29 and 30 in Fellowship Hall.

Hoot and holler! Ontelaunee Rod and Gun Club, New Tripoli, will have its annual Spring Sportsmen's Raffle and Block Shoot March 30.

This event is one of Ontelaunee's best known traditions and offers free beverages and snacks noon-6 p.m.

Spread the word! Heidelberg Association of Retired Persons, better known as H.A.R.P., will meet 11 a.m. April 1 at Heidelberg Church to go on its first outing of the year.

Bring a friend and take a quick road trip to the Ontelaunee Park, New Tripoli, and tour its historical buildings such as the Pa. Dutch Bank Barn, Zeisloff Log Cabin and Fort Everett.

Following the tour, this outgoing group of retirees plans to enjoy a leisurely lunch at Schleicher's Family Restaurant, Route 309, New Tripoli.

Family favorites! The Germansville Fire Company is once again selling its famous potato filling and hot bacon dressing just in time for Easter.

These delicious dinner delights may be ordered by calling Harold at 610-767-4400. Orders are due by April 17.

Pick up filling in the upstairs kitchen of the fire hall 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on April 19.

Bring along a container for your filling and thanks much for your continuing support.
