The Borough of Northampton will host free musical performances that are open to the public throughout the summer.
Borough Manager Gene Zarayko said the borough will have two live music performances.
Celtic Adventure will perform at the municipal park. The dates should be announced shortly. The kilt attired group, which plays bag pipes, has previously drawn large crowds.
The Sister Cities celebration in September will feature a polka band performing at the grove in the municipal park.
During the Northampton Fire Department's Spring Rendevzous in May, a band will also play.
Zarayko said a circus act, based in Florida, will be at the municipal park July 22-23. The same circus performed in the borough in 2013.
The Northampton Exchange Club's annual fair at the municipal park will feature several evenings of musical performances in July as well.
Two churches in the borough hold their annual festivals on their grounds, featuring live music.
Tri-Boro Sportsmen will also offer live music on their grounds and a broad genre of music in the summer.
In late October, the Jack Frost Parade will also feature several bands.
