Franna "Fran" Ledeboer, 53, of Orefield, died March 21, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She and her husband John E. "Ted" Ledeboer celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary last July 24.

Born in Boone, Watauga County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late James and Sara (Richardson) Nance.

She earned a Master's degree from St. Joseph's University in elementary education and another Master's degree from Cedar Crest College in special education.

She was an elementary education teacher with the Philadelphia School District for three years.

Prior to that, she taught at Our Mother of Consolation School, Chestnut Hill, for six years.

She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, South Whitehall.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by children John Hayden, Sara Tess and Wyatt Avery, all at home; brothers Keith of Raleigh, N.C., Van of Hickory N.C., Jim of Las Vegas, Nev.; and sister, Jamie Bluto of Charlotte, N.C.
