State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Jasani Mayankkumar, of New York, N.Y. reported to police 12:32 p.m. March 9 a package containing a watch valued at $1,047.79 was taken between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. March 7 from a driveway in the 6600 block of Carmel Drive, Upper Macungie Township.

This incident remains under investigation, police say.

Driver taken

into custody

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say David Nathan Nelson, 27, of Oberlin, Dauphin County, was stopped at 4:10 a.m. March 9 for an alleged speeding violation on Route 22 West, South Whitehall.

Police allege during the traffic stop Nelson showed signs of impairment.

He was taken into custody for driving under the influence.

Charges against Nelson are pending results of a blood test.
