The Annual Lehigh Township Historical Society Spring Basket Social is right around the corner.

It will be held Sunday, April 6, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the Lehigh Township Volunteer Fire Company, Cherryville.

Tickets will be sold at the door.

Winning tickets will be drawn 4 p.m. and winners will be notified if not present at the drawing.

The kitchen will be open. You may purchase food throughout the afternoon.

There will also be a special value table and you may take a chance there, too.

Come out to the basket social and meet your friends and neighbors you have not seen during the winter. Socialize and enjoy the event.

The historical society thanks you for supporting their fundraiser.

Next month, the society is planning a grand opening of their completed addition to the Lehigh Township Historical Centre in Pennsville on Sunday, May 4, from 1 to 4 p.m.

You will want to see all of the changes at the historical centre.

There will be door prizes, light refreshments and a souvenir for visitors.

Bethany Wesleyan Church will be hosting "Are You Smarter Than A Kindergartener?" March 29, from noon to 4 p.m.

Adults will be competing against children in a game of elementary questions and answers.
