Katherine Kula, 97, of Bethlehem, died March 11, 2014. Born in Cementon, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Josephine (Klarich) Chendo. She was the wife of the late Joseph Kula.
She worked for Lucent as an inspector, retiring in 1978 after 27 years.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bethlehem, and was a past president of the Altar and Rosary Society.
She was a member of the Croatian Ladies Auxiliary and the Miller Heights School PTA. She volunteered for her political party.
She is survived by two daughters, Maryann Rudas and Nancy Kula; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Richard Kula; four sisters; and two brothers.
