Elsie C. Ament, 97, of Bethlehem, died March 13, 2014, at Saucon Valley Manor. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Feher) Salontai. She was the wife of the late John G. Ament.
She was a hairdresser for many years.
She was a member of the Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church and sang with the choir for many years.
She is survived by three daughters, Roberta and her husband Patrick Boyle, Mary and her husband Jerome Tatum and Carolyn and her husband Robert Kee; seven grandchildren, Matthew and his wife Shupriya Boyle, Mitchell, Shawn and Chad Boyle, Daneen and her husband Scott Weaver, Christopher and his wife Tricia Tatum and Michelle and her husband Robert Hill; and nine great-grandchildren, Travis, Katie, Keegan and Kylee Boyle, Shawn Sadowy, Nicole and Taylor Cremia, Madison and Parker Tatum.
She was predeceased by five brothers, Elmer, Andrew, Joseph and two who died in infancy; and four sisters, Nellie Doncsecz, Laura Esposito, Grace Kern and Mary Salontai.
