Constance L. Hamilton, 72, of Nazareth, died March 10, 2014, at Gracedale, Upper Nazareth Township. She was the wife of the late Lawrence E. Hamilton.

Born in Oil City, she was a daughter of Betty J. (Evans) Stempin and the late Walter P. Stempin.

She was a 1960 Oil City High School graduate.

She was a customer service rep for Verizon for many years before retiring.

She is survived by a daughter, Julie A. of Northampton; a son, James R. of Franklin; a brother, Timothy D. Stempin of Franklin; three grandchildren, Elizabeth M. Hamilton of Northampton, Andrew J. Hamilton-Kessner of Monroe Township, N.J., and Nathaniel S.H. Jones of Northampton; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Carrie Hamilton; a brother, Mark Stempin; and a sister, Barbara Stempin.
