STUDENT OF THE WEEK
Q. What grade are you currently in?
A. I am in grade 12 at Salisbury High School.
Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?
A. Chemistry. The first time I took the class I immediately became interested in it. I also felt motivated to do some research on my own and further my knowledge of the subject.
Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?
A. I was a member of the state champion Salisbury swim team last year, as well as the school record holding and state champion 400 freestyle relay.
Q. What extracurricular activities are you involved in, both in and out of school?
A. Salisbury swim team and Salisbury debate team.
Q. What is your next goal after high school?
A. Attend the United States Military Academy at West Point and be a leader there.
Q. What would you say your biggest challenge was so far?
A. Balancing my work at school with the time I commit to swimming.
Q. What do you want to be remembered for?
A. I would like to be remembered for my accomplishments on the swim team as well as being a good and hardworking student.
Q. Who is in your family?
A. My father Rob Costantini, my mother Vanessa Costantini and my sister Rachel Costantini.
Q. Do you have someone you look up to?
A. I look up to my grandfather for his service to our country in World War II and Korea. His service was one of the motivating factors for me wanting to become an officer in the Army.
Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?
A. Try your hardest in anything you do. No matter what kind of situation you are in, you can always learn something and better yourself from it.
