Jean L. Sewell, formerly of Emmaus, died Dec. 14, 2013, in Kaiser Hospital in Los Angeles, Calif. She was the wife of the late Charles Allen Sewell. Born to Hazel and Edwin K. Lutz, she grew up in Phillipsburg, N.J. as well as Easton.

She is survived by two biological grandchildren, Michael P. Sewell living in California and Beth Sewell-Berger, of Virginia Beach, Va.; four great-grandchildren, Aiden and Katie, and Jordan and Nikolas Berger. She was predeceased by biological children, Barbara and Douglass.

Services will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1500 Airport Road, Allentown, 11 a.m. March 22. Following the memorial service, join the family for fellowship and a brunch noon at the Emmaus Fire Co. Station 1, Sixth and Broad streets, Emmaus.
