Gerald L. Moreira, 69, of Macungie, died Feb. 12, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, inpatient hospice unit, Allentown. He was the husband of Helen M. (Buhl). They would have celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary Feb. 21. Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late Deodoro F. and Irene J. (Dotter) Moreira.

He was employed as a bailer at Levine's prior to retiring.

He is survived by his wife; brothers, Barry and his wife Margaret, of Lehighton, Rodney and his wife, Debbie, of Slatington.

Services are private. Arrangements were made by the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., Allentown.
