Elva M. Kunkel, 104, formerly of Lynnport and later Alburtis, died March 11, 2014, in the Kutztown Manor, Kutztown. She was the wife of the late William H. Kunkel, who died in 1968. Born in Albany Township, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Annie (Shollenberger) Knepper.

She was the oldest member of Jacobs Church, New Tripoli.

She was a member of the Lynnport Fire Co.

She is survived by a daughter, Betty J. Rump, of Fleetwood; son, Richard A. and his wife Mae, of Kempton; 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 25 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Marian A. Becker and a son, Donald C.
