Edward J. Flanagan, 74, of Emmaus, died Feb. 17, 2014, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Inpatient Hospice Unit, Allentown. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Joseph J. and Grace L. (Keller) Flanagan.
He was a welder for Harry Bertoia Metal Sculpting for 18 years and Abec before retiring in the mid-1990s.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He was an avid pool player and was a classic car and drag racing enthusiast.
He is survived by a son, Daniel E., of Emmaus; daughter, Loreen J. Greenwald, of Enola; grandchildren, Nathaniel, Bevin and Emma. He was predeceased by a brother, James J.
Services are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by the Stephens Funeral Home Inc., Allentown.
