Scott W. Powell, 59, of Northampton, died March 3, 2014. He was the husband of Linda (Wuchter) Powell for 34 years.

He was a son of the late Lewis and Jean (Beil) Powell.

He was a 1972 Catasauqua High School graduate.

He was a pattern technician at Effort Foundry, Bath. He was a foreman for the former Bethlehem Steel Company until its closure. After that, he worked for the Centric division of Bethlehem Steel and for Raymour and Flanigan.

He is survived by a daughter, Nicole and her husband Luis Perez; and a son, Nathan and his wife Danielle (Nace), all of Northampton; a brother, Barry L. Powell of Bethlehem; a sister, LuAnn and her husband Timothy Miller of Allentown; three grandchildren; Madison, Austin and Jacob; a niece, Kaley; and a nephew, Craig.
