Gladys M. Mohr, 90, formerly of Egypt, died Feb. 24, 2014, at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. She was the wife of the late Malcom H. Mohr who died in 2001.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Lester Heiney.
She was a member of Emmaus Moravian Church and donated her time to the "Peanut Gang." She was a den mother for Cub Scouts in the early 60s, served as the captain of the school crossing guards for many years and served as a dispatcher for the Emmaus Police Department until 1970.
She loved to sew, repairing clothes for many people and loved bingo and played often.
She is survived by two sons, Donald M. and his wife Cynthia of Whitehall and Craig B. of Emmaus; five grandchildren, Jason, Travis, Sean, Fawn and Christopher; and three great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a brother, Donald Heiney.
