Daniel R. Ringer, 90, of Sun City Center, Fla., formerly of Whitehall and Schnecksville, died March 7, 2014, in the Hospice House of Sun City Center.

He was the husband of the late Shirley E. (Blose) Ringer.

Born Sept. 19, 1923, in Whitehall Township, he was the son of the late Roy H. and Verna A. (Hahn) Ringer.

He owned and operated his family farm in Whitehall Township for 42 years before retiring in 1990.

Concurrently, he was a real estate broker for Lehigh-North Realty Co., Whitehall, for eight years.

Prior to moving to Florida, he was a member of St. John's UCC, Mickleys, Whitehall, a 50-year member and past worthy master of the former Washington Grange 1763 and Schnecksville Grange 1684.

His survivors include a son, Thomas D. and his wife, Nancy, of Bethlehem; daughters LuAnn S. Trach and her husband, Neil, of Orefield, Denise L. Kruczek and her husband, John, of Schnecksville; brother, Alton H.S. and his wife, Mary, of Whitehall; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by sisters Leona M. Helfrich and Ruth V. Rabert.
