Barbara A. Lynch, 71, of Catasauqua, died Feb. 23, 2014, in her home.

Born in North Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Frank P. and Sophie (Podorsky) Snyder.

She was a 1960 Catasauqua High School graduate.

She was a secretary at the Catasauqua Middle School for 23 years before retiring in 2008.

She was a member of St. Mary's Church, Catasauqua, where she was active in the Altar and Rosary Society.

She is survived by two daughters, Kristine and her husband Christopher Kranzley and Suzanne and her husband Nevin Holderman; a sister, Mary Ann Snyder; and two sisters-in-law, Janice Nin Snyder and Kathy Lynch-Toth; and four grandchildren, Nathan and Taylor Kranzley and Sydney and Elizabeth Holderman.

She was predeceased by a brother, Frank Jive Snyder.
