Betty J. Kline, 83, of Salisbury Township, died in her residence March 7, 2014. She was the wife of Paul T. Kline with whom she shared 59 years of marriage. Born in Munson, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lola Bachman.

She retired in 2013 after 41 years as a cook at Harry S Truman Elementary School in Salisbury Township.

She was a lifetime member of St. John's Evangelical Congregational Church, Allentown, where she was a Sunday school teacher and prayer meeting leader.

A devoted wife and loving mother, she was a great cook and loved to attend high school football games and golf tournaments. She took pleasure in the company of her grandchildren, friends and neighbors.

She is survived by her husband; sons, Paul, Jr. and David, of Allentown; grandson, Damian; step-grandchildren, Belinda Masters and Jason Jiandani.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church in her name, 405 N. Jerome St., Allentown, 18109-2223.

A service will be held 11:30 a.m. March 12 in the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Inc., with a viewing 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
