Whitehall police

Whitehall Township police officers responded to a report of a stabbing 11:58 a.m. March 2 at 1047 North Sixth St., Whitehall.

According to a press release, officers encountered an injured man who reported being stabbed by Nelson Perez, 47, of North Sixth Street.

The victim was later transported to a local hospital for treatment. Perez was taken into custody by officers.

Perez was arraigned March 2 on one count of aggravated assault. He was committed to Lehigh County prison and bail was set at $85,000.

Police are currently investigating the incident.

The Whitehall police responded to these and other calls recently.

FEBRUARY 24

· Police responded to a report of damage to a camper in the 700 block of West Union Street.

· A report of a fire brought officers to the 4100 block of Bridge Street.

· Officers were called to Vermont Street to investigate a report of criminal mischief.

FEBRUARY 25

· Police responded to a dispute between a sister and brother in the 4500 block of Troxell Drive.

· A theft of cooper spouts brought officers to the 3100 block of South Front Street.

· Officers responded to a harassment complaint at Valero, 4755 Main St.

· Police were called to North Third Street to investigate a report of a wanted person.

· A motor vehicle crash brought officers to the 3700 block of Dogwood Drive.

· Officers were called to Rising Hill Road to investigate a report of a suspicious person going through a Dumpster.

· A request for a protection-from-abuse order brought police to the 3700 block of Lehigh Street.

FEBRUARY 26

· Police were called to the 600 block of Front Street to investigate a report of a disabled vehicle.

· Officers assisted EMS in the 1100 block of Congress Street.

· An alarm summoned officers to Kohls, 2010 Whitehall Mall.

· Officers responded to a report of a reckless driver on MacArthur Road.

· A report of a theft brought police to JC Penny, 500 Lehigh Valley Mall.

· Police were called to Hollister, 142 Lehigh Valley Mall, to investigate a harassment complaint.

· An alarm summoned officers to the 1100 block of Congress Street.

FEBRUARY 27

· Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 3200 block of North Ruch Street.

· Police investigated a report of a computer crime in the 1300 block of MacArthur Road.

· A report of self harm brought officers to the 1100 block of West Tyler Street.

· Officers responded to a report of a suspicious activity in the 1000 block of Catasauqua Avenue.

· A motor vehicle crash brought police to MacArthur Road.

· Police were called to the Lehigh Valley Mall to investigate a report of a disturbance.

· Officers responded to a report of harassment in the 300 block of Virginia Avenue.

· A report of a vehicle keyed brought police to the Lehigh Valley Mall.

FEBRUARY 28

· Police were called to the 1300 block of Woodlawn Street to investigate a report of a suspicious activity.

· A request for a protection-from-abuse order brought officers to the 3700 block of Lehigh Street.

· Police responded to a fire in the 2800 block of English Lane.

· Officers conducted a drug investigation at Boscovs, 400 Lehigh Valley Mall.

· Police were called to the 3400 block of Oak Street to investigate a DUI.

· A report of a disturbance brought officers to the unit block of Maryland Circle.

· Police responded to a report of a reckless driver on MacArthur Road.
