Marian M. Deater, 87, of Bethlehem, died Feb. 23, 2014. Born in Avoca, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Anderson) George. She was the wife of the late Warren T. Deater.

She was a sewing machine operator and worked for various factories throughout the Lehigh Valley, retiring in 1987.

She is survived by four children, Mary Ruth, Thomas, Barbara Byrum and Margaret Pecsek; six grandchildren, Trudi Eckert and sons Jay, Spencer and Tyler; Kim Wood and son Dylan; Cindy McNew; Tracy Valentin and children Beau, Ryan and Phylicia; Stacy Soldo and daughter Kirsten; and Louis Acevedo and child, Austin Alexis; and a sister, Roseann Fela.

She was predeceased by eight siblings.

Arrangements were made by Connell Funeral Home Inc., Bethlehem.
