Jeannette I. Louis, 86, of Allentown, died Feb. 28, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She was the wife of the late Donald V. Louis.

Born March 7, 1927, in Glenolden, she was the daughter of the late Arthur R. Sr. and Jeannette E. (Kille) Price.

A 1945 graduate of Upper Darby High School, she was a cashier and bookkeeper at Acme Markets.

While raising her four children, she worked part time at the Philadelphia Chewing Gum Factory, the Upper Darby School District Food Services, and retired in 1989 from Clifton Precision.

She was a member of Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schnecksville.

Prior to moving to Allentown in 2001, she was an active member and volunteer at Resurrection Lutheran Church, Havertown.

Her survivors include children Linda K. Rebuck and her husband, Carl, of Allentown, Daniel V. Louis and his partner, John Rogan, of Desert Hot Springs, Calif., Elizabeth A. Burkett and her husband, Paul, of Ft. Collins, Colo., Lorraine D. Lusas and her husband, Frank Jr., of Oxford; sister Helen E. Wilhovsky of Wells, Vt.; grandchildren Nicholas Burkett and his wife, Tammy, Brian Rebuck and his wife, Rory, Amanda Lusas and her fiance', Justin, Greggory Lusas; great-grandchildren Paige and Nichole; great-great-grandchildren Xxavier and Kamryn.

She was predeceased by a brother Arthur R. Jr.

Her funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. March 8, at Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5500 Route 873, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Dennis W. Moore officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday in the church.

Interment will follow the service at Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill.
