Jean A. Heintzelman, 81, of Slatington, died on Feb. 27, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She was the wife of Calvin P. Heintzelman, who died in 2009.

Born Aug. 13, 1932, in Heidelberg Township, she was the daughter of the late William L. and Florence A. (Roberts) Mack.

She graduated from the former Slatington High School.

A longtime member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Slatedale, she was the church financial secretary for more than 30 years and recording secretary for 10 years.

Employed previously for several years by the former Harold Stephens Food Wholesale, Allentown, she enjoyed farming and her animals.

Her survivors include son Mark C. of Slatington; daughter, Fern J., wife of Jay R. Hill, of Blairstown, N.J.; and four grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. March 6, at Kevin E. Hunsicker Funeral Home Inc., 4214 Main St., Slatedale.

Call 10-11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home. The Rev. David L. Hess will officiate. Interment at Slatedale Cemetery.
