For the town of Bath, the Sixth Annual Governor Wolf Historical Society Antiques Show, 6600 Jacksonville Road, proved to be a success with 35 stands, two speakers, an auction and many individuals admiring the beautiful antiques in the three buildings on the grounds of the Ralston-McKeen House, the Wolf Academy and the Monocacy School.
On March 1 and 2, an admission ticket could be purchased for $6 that was good for both days. Ticket holders could view several vendors' antiques for sale, some of which were Steckel House Antiques located in Bath, Early Bird Antiques in Nazareth and Stoney Spring Farm Antiques located in Easton.
Planned presentations included collector Gene Allen's "My Favorite Old Santa's" and collector Julian Burley's "Prehistoric Cultures & Stone Tools of Northampton County." Well-known Wil Hahn led an auction of antique items, including stained glass and a Victorian mirror.
Individuals could also admire the Colonial period room settings with the ambience of lit original fireplaces.
