Fred C. Suter Jr., 88, of Northampton, died Feb. 16, 2014, at the Phoebe Home, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Margaret (Lelko) Suter.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Fred Sr. and Thereasa (Yost) Suter.

He was in the U.S. Navy in the European and Pacific Theaters during World War II.

He worked for Tarkett and Company for many years before retiring in 1990.

He was a member of the Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Northampton.

He was a member of the VFW Post 4714, Northampton.

He is survived by two sons, Fred C. III and his wife Mary Grace of Macungie and Glenn J. and his companion Maureen Gallagher of Allentown; and three step-grandchildren, Nicole, Andre and Kevin.
