Police arrested 49-year-old Michael Fontanez, of Lebanon Street, for allegedly burglarizing a Livingston Street residence Feb. 21.

Police said Fontanez was caught inside the home while attempting to steal unspecified items, and having detained at least one resident.

Fontanez is charged with burglary, recieving stolen property, theft, criminal trespass, threats, robbery, unlawful restraint and false imprisonment. He has several previous burglary-related arrests on record. He was committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $250,000 bail.
