Betty Harrison Kuklentz Doyle, a resident of Moravian Hall Square,Nazareth, died Feb. 21, 2014. She was the wife of the late Dr. Paul Kuklentz and the late Thomas Doyle.

Born in New Haven, Conn., she was a daughter of the late Robert Harrison and Anna MacDonald Harrison.

She graduated from East Stroudsburg University and earned a Master's degree from Lehigh University.

She retired from the Bethlehem Area School District after a 31 year teaching career.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Paula Kuklentz Brueningsen.

She was a member of Nazareth Moravian Church.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Kate Brueningsen Pitts and her husband John of Easton; a step-son, James and his wife Linda Doyle of Bethlehem; three step-daughters, Kathleen and her husband Michael Dowd of Easton, Eileen and her husband Thomas Bauer of Northampton and Barbara and her husband Donald Kemmerer of Bethlehem; a son-in-law, Thomas Brueningsen of Bethlehem; a half-sister, Barbara Nielsen of Lansdowne, Fla.; nine step-grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Paula Kuklentz Brueningsen.
