William P. Lentz, Jr., 67, of Emmaus, died Feb. 26, 2014, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was the life partner of Lenore L. Herbst with whom he resided. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late William P. Lentz, Sr. and Pearl M. (Krause) Lentz.

He worked with his parents, brother and sister in the family business, the former Allentown News Agency.

He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War.

He was a member of the Marine Corps League, Macungie Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9264 and the Allentown Firemen's Relief Association.

He is survived by his life partner; brother, Richard F.; sister, Cynthia E. and her husband Rodney J. Steckel, all of Allentown; nieces, Sherry A. and her husband Bob Conrad, of Allentown, Laury L., of Coopersburg; daughter and grandson of his life partner, Joanna F. Scott and Joseph P. Dalton, of Allentown.
