DUI

Angelo Domingo Zapata, 43, of New York City, N.Y., was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after a traffic stop on Mill Creek Road at Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1:56 a.m. Feb. 16. Zapata was stopped for an alleged traffic violation.

Pak Lau, 30, of Allentown, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after a traffic stop on Interstate 78 at mile marker 59.5, Salisbury Township, 3:54 a.m. Jan. 25. Charges were filed in District Court 31-3-03.

Bethzaida Rodriguez, 28, of Bethlehem, was taken into custody from driving under the influence after a traffic stop on Route 309 and Route 22, Lower Macungie Township, 3:31 a.m. Feb. 22. Rodriguez allegedly was speeding and showed signs of alcohol impairment during the traffic stop by police.

Theft from motor vehicle

Reported in the 8100 block of Heritage Drive, Lower Macungie Township, actors entered an unlocked vehicle and took several items from the vehicle between 10:30 p.m. Feb. 20 and 2:30 a.m. Feb. 21.

Retail theft

Reported at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 7:07 p.m. Feb. 12, a man, was seen removing security devices from the packaging of several items.

Theft

Reported by Precision Pipeline Solutions, a 5000 watt Honda generator and a Berger transit level were taken from a construction site on Church Lane, Lower Macungie Township, between Feb. 19 and Feb. 20. Anyone with information may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

False alarm

Maryanne Johnson, no age given, of Zionsville, was charged with allegedly making false alarms to agencies of public safety after police responded four times in a 12-month period to burglary alarms at a location in the 6500 block of Powder Valley Road, Upper Milford Township, between June 20, 2013 and Feb. 15, 2014. Charges were filed through District Justice 31-3-03.
