Richard S. "Dick" Piotrowski, 73, of South Whitehall, died peacefully Feb. 13, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Stephen W. and Helen (Peilich) Piotrowski.

He and his wife Linda M. (Uhl) Piotrowski were married almost 51 years.

He proudly served four years in the U.S. Air Force.

He was employed at Mack Trucks for 30 years in the Standard Engineering Department before retiring in 1984. He later owned Whitehall Engineering for 11 years.

A past president of the Whitehall Area Chamber of Commerce, he was a former 32 degree Mason and member of the Ranger Lake Rod and Gun Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Tim and his wife, Nytish, of Macungie and Robb and his wife, Kathleen, of Danielsville; grandchildren Kristi, Paige, Reily and Abigail; three step-grandchildren; sister Veronica Zemlansky of Whitehall; brother Stephen W. Jr. and his wife, Joan, of North Whitehall; nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by brothers Alfred, Thomas and Edward.
