Marcia M. Mierzwa, 77, died Feb.16, 2014, in her Bethlehem home. Born in Newton, Mass., she was a daughter of the late J. Walter and Dorothea McQuiston. She was the wife of the late John A. Mierzwa for 50 years.

She was a 1958 graduate of Skidmore College.

She was an actress in various off-Broadway, New York City, productions. In the late 1970s she started Information Processing Systems typing, proofing and producing books, papers and manuscripts.

She sang with the Bach Choir for many years and performed with Lehigh University singing ensembles.

She is survived by a son, John J.; a sister, Gail Bursk; a brother-in-law, Jack Bursk; a niece, Katie; a son-in-law, Kevin Wiechelt; and his sons, Jack and Kevin Wiechelt.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Karen Mierzwa Wiechelt; and a nephew, Jon Bursk.
